On June 17th 2013, Nile.Com held a seminar, in Cairo, to show the benefits of IBM Flex Systems and latest IBM Storage solutions as the best fit for cloud infrastructures and to highlight how Nile.Com solutions and services can help businesses adopt and transform their infrastructure to cloud technologies.
The event opening and welcome speech was conducted by Hazem Madian, Sales Manager, Nile.Com, who introduced how the cloud solutions are becoming an inevitable revolution and talked about the market indicators of this trend.
A product overview on IBM PureFlex systems was presented by Mohamed Anwar, PureFlex Product Manager, Middle East & Africa, IBM, who gave a briefing on IBM PureFlex solutions with a special focus on IBM Flex systems as the best fit for virtual and private cloud infrastructures.
This was followed by special highlights focusing on “IBM Flex Systems Storage Solutions” and how they can be beneficial for cloud solutions and virtual workloads presented by Mohamed Elmofty, Storage Solutions Sales Manager, IBM.
A session on “Private Cloud Solutions Architecture Overview”, with a special focus on Microsoft Windows server hypervisor, Microsoft System Center Suite and IBM ready pack for cloud was conducted by Shady Mito, Solutions Technology Professional, Nile.Com.
Reem Ahmad, Solutions Technology Professional, Nile.Com, followed with a live demo for real scenarios on “Microsoft Private Cloud on IBM PureFlex”.
