Nile.Com Hosts its Second Business Continuity Seminar
Thu, 2011-06-30

Following the successful event of December 2010, Nile.Com, hosted its second Business Continuity Solutions seminar at the prestigious Cairo Marriott Hotel on June 28th, 2011. Highly distinguished IT professionals from various industry fields honored us with their valuable and most appreciated attendance. The seminar featured speakers from Nile.Com as well as speakers from IBM Egypt.

Among our honorable guests, expert infrastructure engineer Mahmoud Amin, IT Manager of Dar Al Handasah Consultants - Cairo Office, graciously presented a case study describing the challenges he confronted and the solutions he looked for to overcome these challenges.

A special highlight focused on IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery which are probably one of the most critical elements of an Organization’s Business Continuity Plan. Planned or unplanned business interruptions occur, whether caused by IT maintenance outages or site closures due to fire, natural disasters or other potential causes.

The seminar’s speakers also brought a particular attention to unpredictable adversities that may happen when least expected. When disaster strikes, desktops, applications, data and servers must be brought online, as quickly as possible, to ensure that employees have access to the entire network. IT must build highly available systems that link redundant datacenters to provide employees with business-critical desktops and applications at all times.

"We believe that our solutions and services for Business Continuity will provide a huge value to your organization, helping you achieve new levels of reliability and performance" stated Ahmad Anwar, Chairman, Nile.Com.

Stay tuned to Nile.Com’s future events, which will be announced in due course through stimulating agendas that will surely prompt your interest of attending.
